"The court stated that such tragedies are inevitable when there is no collection of taxes due to a “freebies culture.”" Finally, the Delhi HC could determine the cause of death of the three students! It is the 'freebies culture'. Not desilting of drainage!

A division bench of Acting Chief Justice Manmohan and Justice Tushar Rao Gedela said because of the "freebie culture", the government has no money to upgrade the infrastructure, particularly the city's drainage system, in face of the exploding population of the cityCJI Delhi HC "Delhi is a tragedy waiting to happen": Read what the Delhi High Court said on the death of three UPSC aspirants in Delhi's Old Rajinder Nagar:

HC: There is a major disconnect between what the citizens need and what is being done.

HC: Civic authorities in Delhi are bankrupt. Salaries are being paid with great difficulties. When they don't have money to even pay salaries, how will they improve the infrastructure?

HC: Delhi wants a 'freebie culture'. No money is being spent on infrastructure.

HC: Seems like the Delhi Police is also conducting a "very strange" investigation in this case.

HC: Unauthorized constructions cannot come up without the connivance of the police.

HC: All authorities are only interested in passing the buck.

HC: Passers-by are being arrested but we have not seen arrest of a single MCD official till now. Junior most officials are being suspended, but what about the senior most officials who have not performed their job of supervision?

HC: Senior MCD officials are not willing to move out of their air conditioned offices.

HC: Delhi is not prepared for anything. Our infrastructure cannot take care of anything. We have to be clear if we want this "freebie culture".

HC: Delhi is a tragedy waiting to happen. No money is being spent on infrastructure. Officers are indulging in all sorts of activities and there is no supervision by senior officers. Delhi's planning is extremely poor.

HC: From 1980 there has been no mention of drains. There is no masterplan for drains. We can give it in writing that no MCD official can even make a plan. They don't know anything about the drainage system.

HC: This is an infrastructural breakdown at the largest level. Accountability needs to be fixed.

HC: The entire administrative infrastructure of Delhi needs to be re-examined.

if the Bench of Hon’ble acting CJ of Delhi High Court reveals empirical data that corroborates the inferred linkage between so-called freebies and lack of resources for infra. In the absence of such data, these observations are to be taken as just a reproduction of PM’s election campaign rhetoric

For 10 years nobody in the BJP even dared to raise a finger on anything done by the government. But now that BJP is reduced to 239 and is on a fractured mandate, people like Nitin Gadkari are getting the courage to speak up against their own govt. Gadkari wrote a public letter to Sitharaman and asked her to remove the 18% GST on Life and Medical insurance premiums.

Sanjay Singh got angry at Anurag Thakur, said- 'He is a leader with a gunner type, he does everything in BJP...'

Sanjay Singh said, "Anurag Thakur is a leader who shoots bullets. In his party BJP, everything is done after asking the caste. Ram Nath Kovind was the President but was not invited to the foundation stone laying ceremony of Lord Shri Ram's temple. Reason - Dalit caste. Draupadi Murmu is the President, neither was she invited to the inauguration of the Parliament nor to the inauguration of the temple. Reason - Tribal caste. When Akhilesh Yadav went to the temple for darshan, the temple was washed with Ganga water. Reason - backward caste.
