6 -00 Am Delhi : Chief Minister @AtishiAAP  ji today inspected the PWD roads in Okhla industrial area and ordered immediate repair of the damaged roads. A special court in Bengaluru has directed the police to register a FIR against Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman allegedly for ‘extortion’ using electoral bonds. The Supreme Court annulled electoral bonds scheme earlier this year calling it unconstitutional and it violated principles of RTI.

The Supreme Court, earlier this year, struck down the electoral bonds scheme for funding political parties after it found the scheme violated Right to Information Act and Article 19 (1)(a). The apex court directed the State Bank of India to stop the issue of electoral bonds and publish details of donors.

It is well-known that it is not in jurisdiction, will of the FM to do it alone. We know who is instructing. When electoral bonds came, when it was not implemented, an RBI Governor level officer said and wrote letters, he had to resign. He said that it can lead to money laundering. They knew that it was unconstitutional and could not be passed in Rajya Sabha, it was then called a Money Bill. The matter is pending. I believe that it was a fraud to call it Money Bill, but it will be decided by the SC. The main issue is level playing field. It is important for unbiased and independent election. It is important for a democracy, it is an attack to it," says Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi ( @DrAMSinghvi) in a press conference speaking on an FIR against FM Niramala Sitharaman over electoral bonds.
