BEL & ECIL manufactures EVMs by importing various components. They do not disclose the source of suppliers saying “ Security “ reasons. If EVMs can not be tampered why not transparently put them to test? Examine the vulnerability ? Asks an IIT Kanpur Professor.
Many countries stopped voting through EVMs. Holland stopped in 2007 after testing the vulnerability. Scientists found the Memory Chip in the EVM can be replaced in 5 minutes. They also found that simple radio receivers placed outside Polling Stations can observe the variations in electromagnetic signals to find out the voters are voting for whom. What type of Micro Chop is used in the EVM & name & address of the manufacurer was a question asked in the RTI. This was unanswered. But BEL & ECIL has given the answer in May 2019. NXP.com a reputed American Firm. Election Commission claimed that the MIcro Chip is only one time programable. But the experts found out from the NXP website that the Chip has Flash Memory and it can be accessed to re-program.
Another issue the EC is not transparent about is the Original Source Code of the EVM machines. The reply EC gave is the source code is written by BEL & ECIL and this is secretely stored under controlled conditions with no access to anyone. EC says this makes the EVM tamper proof. But the International Foundation for Electoral System & National Democratic Institute based in USA says allowing external agencies to examine the source code will help finding the errors & remedial actions. The above says how it was done in 2004 in USA. A Group of 5 Scientists found several flaws after US Government published the Source Code online to public.
Why this secrecy in India? Why not open up the design of VVpads & EVMs for transparent Expert’s scrutiny? Are they afraid of the fallout of the findings ?
Are the people’s votes are in jeopardy & India’s Democracy is in danger ??

The Supreme Court reprimanded the Central Government for withholding Punjab's ₹ 1,200 crore fund and said that "either the Central Government should give funds to the Punjab Government for stubble management or it should clearly reject their proposal".
After the farmers' agitation, the Central Government is withholding Punjab's ₹ Rs 1,200 crore fund to maintain its hostility towards the farmers of Punjab.
