2. Now even the Metro is not safe in Delhi. Today cable was stolen from the Blue Line Metro in Delhi. Theft of Metro cable is just one example. Here people's cars, motors etc. are being stolen. Amit Shah ji, please spend some time on the security of the country's capital Delhi. Earlier this morning, commuters experienced significant inconvenience while travelling on the Delhi Metro's Blue Line, as services were disrupted due to cable theft between Moti Nagar and Kirti Nagar stations.

5. On hearing the news of the tragic death of a school student at Kusumpur Pahari in Vasant Vihar, Chief Minister Atishi ji met the family of the deceased student and consoled them. Chief Minister Atishi ji assured all possible government assistance to the family of the deceased school student. The death of a child inside the school premises is a very sad incident. We are getting an investigation done by the education department and if negligence is found on the part of the school, action will be taken against the school.

6. AAP led Delhi Govt will pay Rs 8,000 to over 90,000 registered construction workers affected by the city's construction ban due to air pollution. Standing with the workers.

7. AAP Govt in Delhi has established 56 New Schools of Specialised Excellence in the Academic Year 2024;

   95% students who appeared for NEET, qualified in the exam.

8. Durgesh Pathak highlighted the urgent need for allotment of land for a clubhouse for residents of Inderpuri, New Rajinder Nagar, and Old Rajinder Nagar in the Delhi Assembly today. We aim to build it as a hub for social, cultural, and recreational activities. Since the Delhi Government doesn’t own land, we are coordinating with the DDA to identify a suitable location.

   

9. Delhi Police arrested MLA Naresh Balyan on Wednesday in a MCOCA case. A petition was filed in the court for his 10-day custody, which has been rejected. Dwarka Court has said that a petition should be filed in the MP/MLA court for Balyan's custody.

10. Punjab & Haryana High Court Suspends Delhi AAP MLA Naresh Yadav's Sentence In Quran Sacrilege Case. The Punjab & Haryana High Court today suspended the sentence of Delhi MLA from Aam Admi Party Naresh Yadav in 2016 Quran desecration case.

    Yadav along with two others were sentenced by Punjab's Marlerkotla Appellate Court a week ago, to two years rigorous imprisonment for outraging feelings of a particular community under Sections 295-A, 153-A read with Section 120-B IPC.

10,000 New Classrooms added in Punjab Govt Schools since AAP formed Govt. On an Average, Indian Govt School should have 10 classrooms. So 10,000 Classrooms are equivalent to 1,000 New Schools, built in a very short span of time. AAP-led Punjab Govt has built 1,400 km of boundary walls across 8,000 Govt Schools in Punjab. This has significantly increased attendance, reduced dropouts, ensured safety of students and prevented the encroachment of school property. A Strong Investment in Punjab's Future.

19. In a major step towards strengthening Punjab’s power infrastructure, Harbhajan Singh ETO Lays Foundation Stone for Rs.7-cr 66 KV Power Sub Station in Nakodar. Addressing the gathering here, The Cabinet Minister said that this new power station, estimated to cost ₹7 crore, will feature a 12.5 MVA power transformer and a 4.5 km long 66 KV line. It will also include nine 11 KV feeders—six agricultural, one urban, and two UPS feeders. Once operational, the substation will directly benefit 20 villages and indirectly improve the power supply for another 17 villages, thereby catering to the a total of 37 villages.

    He further added that the substation will reduce feeder length, resulting in fewer breakdowns and providing uninterrupted power to agricultural, domestic, and industrial consumers. It will also alleviate the load on the 132 KV Nakodar, 220 KV Noormahal, and 66 KV Shamshabad and Shankar power stations, improving their efficiency.

20. Addressing the gathering after dedicating the plaza to people which houses 30 feet high bronze statue of iconic martyr on Airport road, the Chief Minister said that this legendary martyr should not only be remembered only on his martyrdom day (March 23) or birthday (September 28) but he said that the iconic martyr should be remembered every moment.

    He said that this plaza, constructed at a cost of Rs 5 crore, will ever inspire our younger generations to follow the footsteps of the great martyr and serve the country zealously. Bhagwant Singh Mann expressed hope that this plaza will act as a lighthouse for the visitors coming from within the country and abroad by apprising them about the role of this legendary martyr.

21. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government had already deployed around 175 cops apart from the senior officers to prevent any untoward incident. He said that this produced the desired result as a conspiracy to bring bad name to the state was foiled by the Punjab Police who was keeping an eagle eye around Sri Harmandir Sahib.

    The Chief Minister said that he is keeping a regular tab over the entire incident and has directed officers to maintain maximum vigil against anti-social elements.

The Union government designed a solar power auction that discouraged competition and paved the way for Adani Group to secure contracts for assured purchase of its expensive power for thousands of crores of rupees over the next 25 years. 

The extraordinary auction conditions and a series of exemptions brought in by the Union ministries of power, the renewable energy and its arm the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) in 2019 ensured that Adani Group was the dominant player in the competition with just two others in the ring--Azure Power India Limited and Navayuga Engineering Company Limited.
