  1. DELHI NEWS : A son of Mother India, who took India on the path of progress with true devotion, bid us all goodbye and left. Former Prime Ministers Shri #ManMohanSinghJi ji will always remain in our hearts.
    In 1991, India's fiscal deficit was close to 8.5 per cent of the gross domestic product, the balance of payments deficit was huge and the current account deficit was close to 3.5 per cent of India's GDP. India's foreign reserves barely amounted to US$1 billion, enough to pay for 2 weeks of imports ,in comparison to US$600 billion in 2009.

Singh explained to the PM and the party that India is facing an unprecedented crisis. However the rank and file of the party resisted deregulation. So P. He was a member of St John's College.After Cambridge, Singh returned to India and served as a teacher at Panjab University.[23] In 1960, he went to the University of Oxford for his DPhil, where he was a member of Nuffield College.He was a senior lecturer of economics at Panjab University from 1957 to 1959. During 1959 and 1963, he served as a reader in economics at Panjab University, and from 1963 to 1965, he was an economics professor there.[25] Then he went to work for the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) from 1966 to 1969.Later, he was appointed as an advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Trade by Lalit Narayan Mishra, in recognition of Singh's talent as an economist

From 1969 to 1971, Singh was a professor of international trade at the Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi.

In 1972, Singh was chief economic adviser in the Ministry of Finance, and in 1976 he was secretary in the Finance Ministry. In 1980–1982 he was at the Planning Commission, and in 1982, he was appointed governor of the Reserve Bank of India under then finance minister Pranab Mukherjee and held the post until 1985. He went on to become the deputy chairman of the Planning Commission (India) from 1985 to 1987.[12] Following his tenure at the Planning Commission, he was secretary general of the South Commission, an independent economic policy think tank headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland from 1987 to November 1990. 2. Huge enthusiasm surrounds the AAP’s Mahila Samman Yojana. On December 25th, a whopping 10 lakh women registered for the scheme. Between December 23rd and 24th, a total of 12 lakh registrations were recorded on Monday and Tuesday. So far, a total of 22,00,000 women have registered for the scheme.
Irony : BJP accused AAP leaders Arvind Kejriwal and Atishi of deceiving women and elderly with non-existent schemes. BJP claimed that people were misled by promises of financial aid and free medical treatment. BJP demanded an apology from Kejriwal and offered help to those affected. They also challenged AAP to show notifications of these schemes.

"There were three complaints - first is that CM Atishi and AAP national convenor Arvind Kejriwal said that there already is a 'Mahila Samman Yojana' where we are paying Rs 1,000 to women and now they will pay Rs 2,100 and for this scheme, we are making you file a form but a Delhi government department informed yesterday that there is no such scheme in place and AAP is taking personal information of women fraudulently."
    AAP to officially submit complaint to ED in BJP MP Parvesh Verma's Cash for Vote bribery expose. Parvesh Verma was caught red handed while he was distributing Rs 1100 per women in Delhi as 'Cash for votes" AAP MP @SanjayAzadSln  to reach ED office at 4 PM to submit complaint.
    Police complaint against BJP leader Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma for distributing cash among women. The complaint alleges that Verma and others attempted to influence votes with improper intentions. It also claims that they misled the public by presenting fake documents as authentic. A complaint was lodged at the Barakhamba Road police station under sections 170, 318 (4), 335, 336, and 340 of the Indian Penal Code.

    15. The Madras High Court recently held that the service register of a public servant could not be completely exempted under Section 8 of the Right to Information Act. Section 8(j) of the RTI Act exempts personal information from disclosure.Justice CV Karthikeyan observed that the service register of the public servant contains details of the assets and liabilities of the employee which were not private information. The court noted that these details could not be shielded from the public scrutiny.
