  1. “Kejriwal is not cooperating in the investigation, not giving the password of his phone” Do you remember this “Shurpanakha’s lamentation” that BJP leaders were doing on TV and ED-CBI lawyers in court, after Kejriwal’s arrest in the so-called liquor scam! Now the Supreme Court itself has ordered that the investigating agency cannot collect data from the phone or laptop of the accused. "Privacy" is the fundamental right of the accused.
    Remember how these agencies were after Arvind Kejriwal's mobile phone. Not only this, stories were also spread about Manish Sisodia that he had destroyed his phones. The argument used to be that if you are clean, have not done anything wrong, have nothing to hide, then what is the harm in giving out your phone password? Now the Supreme Court itself is admitting that apart from the case concerned, the accused's mobile contains many personal things - about his health, profession, work etc. This personal data has nothing to do with the case. Therefore, the agencies do not have the natural right to collect data from the mobile or laptop in the name of investigation. Now as the layers of the money laundering law are being revealed, it is becoming clear that almost every principle of the criminal justice system has been broken in the name of this law. You arrest a sitting CM, make a rule not to grant bail and then confiscate his phone and try to collect personal and political information too!!! I don't think there has ever been a more serious period in the history of the country, apart from the Emergency, of harassing political opponents by misusing government agencies and making a mockery of the law.
