    A Sessions court on Friday granted bail to the Patidar girl who was arrested along with three others on December 28 by Amreli police on charges of drafting and circulating a fake letter defaming Amreli MLA Kaushik Vekariya.
    The girl worked as a typist at the accused’s place, in the Amreli court.
    The four were accused of writing a letter on a fake letter pad of Amreli Taluka Panchayat President Kishore Kanpariya, accusing Vekaria of accepting bribes for illegal activities, including sand and liquor smuggling. The letter that went viral on social media also had Kanpariya’s fake signature.
