CBI closes investigation into alleged fraud in PMAY (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana) by M/s DHFL. Based on the audit report by M/s Grant Thornton on DHFL, CBI had registered a case against DHFL and its Directors for allegedly opening a “fictitious Bandra branch of DHFL”, creating 2.60 lakh “fake and fictitious home loan accounts” amounting to 14,046 crores under PMAY and received interest subsidy from NHB. After over two years of investigation, CBI closed the case - “NO FRAUD, NO SCAM”. “Na Khaunga, Na Khane Dunga”
