The investigation in the matter was ongoing, he had said, adding that it could not be deemed to be complete for framing charges. Jain had also highlighted that there had been “divergent opinions” on the proceeds of crime, and the CBI had taken up further investigation into the allegations of disproportionate assets against him — the outcome of which was pending at the time.

    In 10 days BJP could not elect a CM from 44 MLAs in Delhi.
