DELHI NEWS :

  1. Yesterday the peak demand in Delhi was 5462 MW. Due to this, there was no electricity for several hours in many places of Delhi last night. Last year the peak demand had reached about 8500 MW. Still, there was no power outage anywhere in Delhi during our government. What will happen in the coming weeks when the heat in Delhi increases and the demand for electricity also increases? In the last ten years, we have worked hard to fix Delhi's electricity system. It is said that it takes years to fix anything but it can be damaged in just two days. Arvind Kejriwal

  4. Recently we all saw crores of rupees burning at a judge's house. No ED went there, no action was taken. This news was suppressed for 5 days. When the news came out, it was denied in the evening. Only the Supreme Court confirmed the video. Does anyone other than the Central Government have the power to suppress this news, then deny it and then not even the media should question it, let alone take any action? After two years of investigation against AAP leaders, not even a single penny was found. ED and CBI were reprimanded further. BJP supporters are either stupid or corrupt.

  6. In Chandra Vihar of Patparganj assembly constituency, the era of filling water from tankers has returned again like 12 years ago. For the past few days, we are forced to drink dirty and smelly gutter water. There was no problem here in the last 10-12 years, but now the condition has become so bad. Please get it repaired soon.

  7. The ASHA worker goes around the village to see who is the most seriously ill person and will not survive after a few days. The fraud gang goes to the house of such a person. They lure him by saying that they will help him with some government aid, just sign some documents. Saying this, the gang opens an insurance policy worth several lakhs in the name of that person. The gang itself pays the EMI for a few months. When a person dies, this gang grabs all the money by claiming the insurance policy. This gang includes insurance people, surveyors, bank people. ASP @ipsanukriti14 of Sambhal district in UP traced one such gang and arrested 25 accused. The gang is spread from Gujarat to Assam. Police estimate that this fraud could be worth around Rs 100 crore. https://x.com/SachinGuptaUP/status/1910143274494439845

The current government lacks courage and recoils at criticism. They harass a Disha Ravi or an Amit Sharma to silence the youth. BJPs’ actions have fostered an environment where today’s youth increasingly declare themselves apolitical.

  1. After posting the above, I came across this piece of a news! Interesting...

  1. Supreme Court Ruling on Tamil Nadu Governor a Win For Other States Too. Here's Why The top court's ruling regarding the pending bills with the Tamil Nadu governor has brought to focus the issue of governors' powers. In a significant move, the court also laid down a timeline for all governors to decide on bills presented to them. Tamil Nadu is not the only state that has approached the top court against the decisions of their governors. While Tamil Nadu moved court in 2023, so did Punjab and Telangana, and West Bengal and Kerala approached the apex court in 2024. All of these states are ruled by parties opposed to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). In Kerala, chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that there was an unprecedented situation in the state where bills passed by the legislature were kept pending for up to 23 months. Currently, six bills are pending with its governor Rajendra Arlekar. In July 2024, the West Bengal government moved the Supreme Court, accusing the governor C.V. Ananda Bose and his predecessor, Jagdeep Dhankhar, who is now the vice-president, of stalling eight state bills. On March 2, 2023, the Telangana government moved the Supreme Court against then governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for sitting on as many as 10 bills pending since 2022, and seeking a direction to the governor to give assent to them. In October 2023, the Punjab government moved the Supreme Court against then governor Banwarilal Purohit for keeping four bills pending. In November, a three-judge bench of the top court directed the governor to make a decision in accordance with the constitution. Terming the Tamil Nadu judgment “wonderful”, the Siddaramaiah government in Karnataka welcomed the top court order as it sped up their issue regarding bills that had been pending with Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot.

The chain stretched across two kilometres, from Harmu chowk to Argora chowk, a route through which Jharkhand’s chief minister Hemant Soren was expected to pass on his way to attend the budget session of the assembly.

  3. Why India has the worst amputation epidemic in the world As a result of inadequate training and resources, doctors resort to the procedure too readily. On the surface, the reason for this is fairly simple: India has the highest number of road accidents in the world. A 2021 paper noted that road traffic accidents were the most common cause of traumatic amputations, “with 85.4% of patients having sustained road traffic injuries”. However, many amputees in India have never been in a road accident. Many lost their limbs to foot ulcers caused by poor blood circulation, a condition often associated with diabetes, a growing health concern in India even among the poor.
