1. India & Pakistan’s Official statements.
Pakistani troops carried out heavy cross-border shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Karnah area of Kupwara district early on Wednesday, killing three civilians. This came just two hours after India launched air strikes on terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

Schools in some border areas of Punjab, including Fazilka and Ferozepur, are closed for now to keep students safe. The DCs have issued orders in this regard after the Indian Army carried out missile strikes on terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir early Wednesday morning. The strikes targeted places linked to terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammad and Lashkar-e-Taiba.Officials said schools will stay closed until the situation becomes safe again. Some schools had told parents it was only for one day, but that may change depending on how things go.
In Jammu and Kashmir, all schools and colleges in places like Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri, and Poonch are also closed today.

4. India says it struck terrorist sites in Pakistan. Pakistan says mosques, civilians hit, vows to respond. Pakistan says it shot down Indian planes. Heavy cross-border shelling by both sides. Officials say 8 killed in Pakistan, 3 in India. India attacked Pakistan and Pakistani Kashmir on Wednesday and Pakistan said it had shot down five Indian fighter jets in the worst fighting in more than two decades between the nuclear-armed enemies.
India said it struck nine Pakistani "terrorist infrastructure" sites, some of them linked to an attack by Islamist militants on Hindu tourists that killed 26 people in Indian Kashmir last month. Islamabad said six Pakistani locations were targeted, with eight people killed.

Delhi's Water Minister @p_sahibsingh should resign because:
1. They don't even know that Delhi's water comes from only 2 rivers - Yamuna and Ganga - and neither of them comes from Punjab. That's why Punjab cannot stop Delhi's water.
2. Delhi is getting all the water of Ganga from 'Upper Ganga Canal' and Yamuna from 'Munak Canal'. Water is not coming less. If Delhiites are facing water shortage then it is due to BJP's mismanagement.

Under the Land Acquisition Act, sarkari patta holders are entitled to compensation. However, when land was acquired for the expressway, more than 25 families in Azamgarh holding sarkari patta were given nothing in return. Most were Dalits or from the Other Backward Classes and depended on this land for their livelihood.
