    Documentation Requirements Existing voters on the 2003 roll need only confirm their details unless specifically challenged. New or post‑2003 enrollees must submit: A pre-filled enumeration form with a self-declared citizenship statement

    Acceptable proofs of birth and citizenship, such as birth certificates, school records, passports, or parents’ documents, depending on date of birth. Details by DOB: Born before 1 July 1987: one document showing date and/or place of birth.

    Born between 1 July 1987 and 2 December 2004: DOB/POB + one parent’s document.

    Born after 2 December 2004: DOB/POB + both parents’ documents

    Timeline & Transparency House-to-house form distribution: June 24–late July

    Draft electoral roll publication: 27–31 July

    Political Party Participation All recognized parties must appoint Booth Level Agents (BLAs) to monitor the process—both BJP and opposition are actively involved.

    Digital Infrastructure & Integrity The ECINET app will centralize data collection, replacing 40 legacy systems, ensuring transparency and reducing errors. BLOs will have ID cards for identification. EPIC duplicate numbers will be eliminated.
