"They may kill me, but they cannot kill my ideas. They can crush my body, but they will not be able to crush my spirit."Bhagat Singh

  1. Listen to the voice of the slum dwellers from Jantar Mantar! "Where there is a slum, there is a house? For 50-60 years, people have been settled here, and they fear they might be made homeless too. Rekha Gupta has betrayed the people of Delhi, and today, the poor have hope only in Arvind Kejriwal.

  2. Was there no other way to stop old vehicles? Now that the monsoon has arrived in Delhi, they’ll run this artificial rain pilot project, small potholes have been filled, but the big ones have been left as they are. They don’t know how to run a government, nor will the government function under them. Credit ANI

  2. EVERY THING IS INTENT [ NEEYAT ] Earlier, there was a common perception in the country that government schools and hospitals could never be fixed, and education-health were never election issues. But after Arvind Kejriwal’s arrival, government schools and hospitals in Delhi and Punjab have become world-class, and education-health are at the very least issues across the country today. This was possible because Arvind Kejriwal and the Aam Aadmi Party had honest intentions. Fixing the education-health system was not just an election promise for us but a commitment, a resolve, because Arvind Kejriwal knew that without fixing this, the country could not move forward, and without it, beating the drum of development would be dishonest to this country. But it is the result of this honest intention that today, after Delhi, Punjab too is a witness to this education and health revolution.

  3. The BJP government is trying to protect drug trafficking businessmen and former minister Vikramjit Singh Majithia.
In Punjab, former minister Vikramjit Singh Majithia has been arrested in a drug case
Punjab’s vigilance team is conducting raids in several states
But the BJP’s Delhi Police is not cooperating with the vigilance team, causing delays in the raids So that drug-related businessmen can be saved from the raids and get time to destroy evidence. @Saurabh_MLAgk
Has a deal been struck between BJP and Vikram Majithia, accused in the drug money case? Now, BJP is protecting Majithia from the drug money case, and in return, Majithia will join BJP. Since this morning, Punjab Police have been present in Delhi to conduct raids at two key locations. But BJP’s Delhi Police are not allowing the raids to take place. Why is BJP protecting the accused in the drug money case?Atishi

  4. BJP's slogans Where there’s a slum, there’s a house, but no house was found, on the 8th, 2500 rupees will come to every account, but BJP’s calendar doesn’t even have the 8th, 15 lakh rupees will come, hasn’t come till today..Is this Vikas? Jumla they say later.

  5. The house of the one who was beating the chest for BJP was also demolished by the BJP government itself, meaning now their own drum has been beaten.

  6. The iconic village of "Phulera" from the hit series Panchayat is actually Mahodiya, Madhya Pradesh. A user's photo thread showcasing the real Panchayat office, bumpy roads, and Pradhan Ji's house has sparked a frenzy among fans.
BJP is not running a government in Delhi but a 'Phulera Panchayat.' If the government wants to remove old vehicles from Delhi's roads, is creating chaos at petrol pumps the only solution they could think of? These people will arrange artificial rain during the rainy season. The officers who used to interfere in work are now the same ones approving nonsensical tasks. When the time comes, these officers will also be investigated. @Saurabh_MLAgk

  7. It has become a whole mess in Delhi for poor people’s lives. Bulldozer is been demolishing the unauthorized colony slums. Now BJP relaised they are losing poor people’s votes. They are going around slums to explain things to them. Saurabh Bhardwaj asked the poor people not to trust them. The Govt is hiring expensive Lawyers and fighting against poor people. These poor people do not even know that there are cases on them. When BJP people come to you aske them to take back the cases against them first.

  3. India’s foreign policy is currently facing an existential crisis. The second term of the Trump administration, which had previously been welcomed by India, has upset India’s carefully crafted foreign policy. The recent India-Pakistan conflict should also be viewed as a ‘wakeup call’. As details of the extent of China’s military connections to Pakistan and of equipment transfer tumble out, India must take notice.
Next to the China-Pakistan nexus in the region, it is India’s approach to events in West Asia and the Israel-Iran conflict that clearly need a relook. India has tried, not very successfully, to sit on the fence as far as the current Israel-Iran war is concerned, but it probably needs to think through what is best in its interest. The stakes have become higher with the United States involving itself directly in the Israel-Iran conflict, which saw it using, for the first time, its GBU-57 bunker buster bomb to destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz and another embedded nuclear site. Neutrality is no longer an option, and despite the announcement of a ceasefire, the possibility of an all-out war is a distinct possibility. M K Narayanan Former Secretary Govt of India

  3. This brilliant @the_hindu  piece by Dr Rahul Shastri exposes the EC lie that 4.96 cr existed on 2003 list and don’t need to submit proof of citizenship. The real figure: around 3.16 cr. Also, he offers the first estimate of availability of each of the 11 certificates demanded by EC in Bihar. Conclusion: about 2.5 cr genuine citizens may fail to produce the certificates and face disenfranchisement. Treasure trove for those who value data. This article should reshape the debate on Special Intensive revision in Bihar. YY.

GOOD NEWS

  1. A distinguished physician Dr. Ratan Chandra Kar, born in 1954 in West Bengal, India, is known for his pivotal role in providing healthcare to the Jarawa tribe of the Andaman Islands. He began his service toward the Jarawa tribes in 1998, notably combating a devastating measles outbreak in 1999 that threatened the tribe's existence. Overcoming initial distrust, Dr. Kar earned the tribe's confidence through cultural respect and medical expertise, treating over a hundred patients at the peak of the epidemic. He had established a dedicated Jarawa Ward at Kadamtala Hospital, integrating their traditional practices with modern medicine. For his dedication, Dr. Kar received the Padma Shri in 2023, for contributing significantly to the tribe's growth from 255 to 260 individuals in 1998 to over 560 today. His work stands as a testament to the importance of culturally sensitive healthcare in preserving vulnerable indigenous communities.
