Nagpur Ambazari Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cultural Bhavan Case Exposes Crores-Worth Scam! 180 Crore Stamp Duty Theft!
A massive scam involving the theft of ₹180 crore in stamp duty has been uncovered in the ₹2000 crore market value deal for the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cultural Bhavan and 44 acres of land in Ambazari, Nagpur.
The Nagpur Municipal Corporation leased this land to MTDCL for just ₹1 annual rent, but MTDCL then leased the same land, worth ₹2000 crore in market value, to a private company named Garuda for just ₹100 annual rent!
Land Transfer: The market value of this land is a whopping ₹2000 crore, and in this deal, the government's—and thus the public's—₹180 crore stamp duty has been stolen!
For this deal, the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cultural Bhavan was demolished, local women protested for 272 days, but the government's promise to "rebuild the Bhavan" is still up in the air.
