I am inn front of the Gazipur landfill site, there is debris piled upon debris, and as the BJP councilor had also mentioned, under the guise of garbage, construction debris is being dumped at the landfill site, weighed, and the private company is receiving payments worth crores of rupees from MCD based on the weight 2. Deliberately, DCs on deputation from other departments are being placed in MCD so that the looting can continue, with no accountability for the DC 3. Garbage is lying on the roads, yet the debris is being weighed and payments are being made to the private company 4. Therefore, the garbage is not even being picked up, but the company responsible for garbage collection is receiving payments worth crores of rupees from MCD.

Pointing out these videos and statements were not brought to his notice by the legal team of the Aam Aadmi Party while briefing him about the imposition of the Public Safety Act against Malik, Kotwal said that “these utterances, if true, are extremely insensitive, irresponsible and detrimental to the cause of national security, sovereignty and integrity of India”.

However, on 28-10-2024, the Gujarat Government issued a circular announcing the discontinuation of this Post-Matric Scholarship. Subsequently, we, along with thousands of students, submitted representations to student leader @YAJadeja , and met with the Commissioner and Secretary at Birsa Munda Bhavan to present our case on behalf of the students. Later, we also attempted to stage a siege at the Legislative Assembly with thousands of students. I firmly raised this issue inside the Assembly hall, and on that day, I was suspended from the Legislative Assembly. The government cited several reasons for discontinuing this Post-Matric Scholarship, and in response, in the month of June, we threatened to boycott government programs such as Kanya Kelavni and School Entry Festival in tribal areas. Following that, the government immediately issued another circular on 24 June 2025, assuring the reinstatement of this Post-Matric Scholarship. However, due to the non-deposit of the funds, in response to the students' representations, on 25 November 2025, we met the Minister at Birsa Munda Bhavan and Swarnim Sankul-1 and submitted that if the scholarship is not activated within 15 days, we will carry out constructive programs in Gandhinagar, and with that threat, just yesterday, the government decided to deposit the Post-Matric Scholarship for tribal community students, which decision I welcome, and I expect that with the other demands also being fulfilled promptly, the government will take positive decisions regarding the pending demands of tribal students as well.
