  3. WAR EFFECT: NOW ON FEETILIZERS

    With shortage of gas in the country, the next to be hit after hotels, hostels, crematoriums, will be fertilizer factories.

    As per reports, Ramagundam Fertilizer and Chemicals Limited (RFCL) in Telangana is reporting a severe drop in production due to the ongoing gas shortages.

    While 3850 tons of fertilizers were to be produced per day, the production reportedly fell to half due to lack of gas.

    While the annual target is 12.7 lakh metric tonnes.. 8.5 lakh metric tonnes of fertilizer production was achieved by February.

    Not only in Ramgundam, but this is allegedly the situation in all the fertilizer factories across the country.

    For months, farmers in Telangana have already been impacted by shortage of fertilizers and now with the production itself going down…farming sector and ultimately common citizens might feel the impact.

    War isn’t something that is happening in a far off land anymore. We are all going to be impacted by this madness.
